Alumna of London Film School with a Masters in Filmmaking and another Masters in Communication Studies. A reverse migrant writer & filmmaker, Anjali’s signature movie style involves ensemble casts and intuitive treatment to tell stories of family, gender, social movements and cultural thresholds. With four features in Malayalam, an OTT feature, couple of documentaries and shorts in English, Anjali has now signed up to helm feature films in Hindi and Tamil. Beyond film, Anjali writes columns and stories and frequently engages with  motivational speaking, cinema academics and gender justice advocacy.
