There is so much happening in the world and so much to write about, but right now I am happy to be in this space curled around the little finger of my baby.
I have never been great around babies. They’re ultimately adorable but I have no clue what to do with them! So when the idea of having one myself came around, it was exciting and terrifying in equal proportions. I shan’t go into the nine months of prep that got us here but I cant help writing about what it feels like to have a baby – mainly because he has completely taken my life over.
I am in love, as they say, at a “cellular” level and like any new mom – cant stop gushing about his pink toes. πΒ In less than a month he has taught me more than I have known all these years. And all those stories about bleary eyed days, sleepless nights and constant demands for attention are true … but then did you know that babies smell like they’re made in a bakery? π
A friend asked me how this experience would influence my work… as I figure it- we write about what we know; and my new script for Anwar Rasheed begins with a scene featuring a pregnant woman! π
Good day to everyone & good night to those with small babies… YaWN!
Hi Anjali,
Congrats and all my wishes n prayers for both of you.

Rahul.

congrts chechi!
Glad to know about the happiest phase in your life…..
Congrats Anjali !!!
Take care….
It’s so amazing how the feeling one gets from babies is universal! They make you smile, your heart gets all light and fluffy. They exude innocence, purity and LOVE. They put you in a good space! They change your LIFE. I didn’t realize it for a while, but I didn’t start truly living until I became a Mother! Good luck and enjoy (they grow at an astronomical rate!) =)
PEACE!
Hi A, its gonna to be even more fun as he starts to crawl, walk and utter the word AMMA for the first time. We all are very happy for you & would love to see a pic of mon .
Wish the mother & child great health and prosperity …
I was waiting to meet A and her baby eagerly,to see how she would behave as a mother, a parent etc. After working very closely with her, this phase of her… And when I met them, A u rock!!!

Hai Anjali,
Congraz!!!!
wowwwwwwwwwwww…
congrats mother…..
Spontaneously what comes to my mind is Khalil Gibrans poem, and I quote as below:
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness
congrats………..

i am writing this only because i just saw mam at the programme kadha ithuvarey ,i saw happy journey was a superb attempt.hats off to renjith also.i have a question why u r step back from mainstream cinemas.i think usthad hotel will be a good step.i fed up with masala movies ,new talents should come , newer ideas should come, these r very familiar suggestions but not having any solution, many of the people are there but they r not getting a chance to show their talent, i am not telling about reality shows. why u people r not taking initiative for new people to share their stories ideas .because many of them are looking for chance. u people can go for a story campaigning or somewhat like that,i dont know if mam will read this or not or many people are given same suggestions ,y i am writing is this only because u people want to do something for movies, malayalam cinema should be benefitted with newer ideas, because kerala cafe was a good attempt from ur people side. looking forwar for ur best works
